God, she’s big. Wow. By the end of the voyage, we had finally begun to successfully navigate ourselves fore and aft, port and starboard. We were even able to find the dining rooms, after a while!


Seriously, there were 2,500+ passengers on this trip - it was sold out - plus another 1,000+ crew. That this ship exists is amazing - and that they’re able to extend this level of luxury to the sheer number of passengers they get is even more astounding. There were times the food was less than stellar, but that they were able to provide anything better than fish-sticks still astounds me. That said, this really is a great way to travel to places that either can’t be visited by land (i.e., Alaska) or to places you’re not serious about investigating (i.e., the Mexican Riviera or the Caribbean.)


This being the Hallowe’en week, they had carving classes and contests, some of which are shown below.
