Went away for a couple of weeks to visit friends in Ohio, then off to VA for a week to visit family, celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday and ride a few more coasters before coming home... Pics here!

Last Sunday, the day after I got back from the Ohio/Virginia trip, was Dore Alley Street Fair, so we high-tailed it there for the day... Pics here!

For Mother’s Day, I flew up to Portland to visit her as well as my sister Cat and her husband Dan (and, of course, the various kitties). Portland is stunning anyway, but I really lucked out with some magnificent weather - we were able to get outside and do a lot of walking. Had an absolute blast.

Yikes - neglected website... poor thing! I’ve been super-busy lately with Stuff but have been taking and collecting interesting pictures without the time to post ‘em up here. I’ve updated, for now, the “Best of” album and the “Dog Crap Signs” sites, but there’s lots more to come.

Woo-hoo! Finally got around to adding a lot of late-2009, early-2010 albums I’d created and posted to Facebook earlier but hadn’t put here yet... There’s new pics of Amy, Dog Crap signs, plus pics from our trek to Disneyland for Joe’s birthday, our visit to the Flower Mart, Moss Beach, Pt. Bonita, Muir Woods, the Coho Trail and Chinatown/Little Italy. Fun times...

Went to the Makers Faire down in San Mateo this weekend, first with my friend John, then with Joe. Had a blast - saw a lot of things to inspire and re-kindle my own “DIY” interests. Now... to find the time to do it. *sigh*

At long last, we were able to get away up to Portland to visit Mom, Cat & Dan and Paul for both Dan’s birthday and a really delightful (somewhat belated) Mother’s Day. Stunning time - great company, fun times, fun food. Utterly magical.

Went camping with our friends Joe & John last weekend up at Yosemite for four nights; had a fantastic time hiking all over, watching the waterfalls, enjoying each other and being away from The City for a while. Really spectacular.

Busy at work these days... but not too busy to attend Mark & Steve’s annual Easter party followed the next day by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Hunky Jesus Contest and Thirtieth Anniversary party in Dolores Park. WOW, what a wonderful time... Pics here...

Not a lot goin’ on these days - mostly work, but these days, that’s not such a bad thing.

A couple of new things:  I’ve started keeping my blog here on my site instead of LJ, ‘tho I’ll feed the RSS into that site. This past weekend was the annual International Bear Rendezvous weekend; we went to some of it, saw friends, chitty-chatted and generally had fun. Overall, it was rather low-key.
